It is 25km far from Como and Lugano and 10km far from Menaggio.
Surrounded by nature and peace, our B&B is the ideal place for your relaxing holidays. We are 800mt far from the lakeshore and at the foot of the famous Sacred Mount of Ossuccio, the best starting point for panoramic walks in the mountains or to the lake. All our 6 bedrooms have private bathrooms, TV, wireless connection. The rooms are on the ground floor, with private entrance, or on the first floor, with a wonderful lake view. Breakfast is served in the large dining-room or on the terrace in spring and summer. Our B&B has private parking, a garden with a beautiful lake view, solarium with swimming-pool, deckchairs, parasols and shower. We also have a bar with terrace and a restaurant where we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and where you can taste our home cooking. In the surroundings of Ossuccio you can go for wonderful walks in the mountains or along the lake, visit the famous Sacred Mount with its historic chapels dedicated to the Stations of the Cross (Via Crucis), visit the ancient St. Benedict Abbey or the only island of the lake, the Comacina Island. Not far from Ossuccio you find enchanting villas like Villa Balbianello, Villa Carlotta and Villa Melzi. About 700 mt far from our B&B you find tennis courts, a bank, a post-office and a bus stop. About 1300 mt far you find a supermarket, a gym, a bowling green, fitness centre, SPA and a landing-stage, from where you can take a boat trip to Bellagio, Varenna, Colico and Como. About 1 hour far by car you find the ski resorts of Valtellina and Valchiavenna, famous for their many ski slopes. Our B&B is easily reachable from all the main towns: - from Milan, motorway direction Como, exit Como Nord (last exit before Switzerland), then road along the lake, direction Menaggio; - from Lugano, way through Porlezza and Menaggio; - from St. Moritz direction Colico - Como. The Cristian apartments are situated by the Garzola guesthouse, in Ossuccio, a small village in the central part of the Como Lake, famous for its climate, monuments and natural beauties. All the apartments are furnished and supplied with all you need: TV, wireless connection, kitchen, refrigerator, freezer. Apartment n. 1 (35m2), is a spacious and nice one-room flat, with double-bed, fireplace and private garden. Apartment n. 2 (48m2), is a two-room flat, with a double-bed and a single bed and with a wonderful view on the lake both from the bed-room and the kitchen. Apartment n. 3 (70m2), is a renovated three-room flat on the ground-floor, with a terrace, a table for external use, garden-seats, kitchen, living-room with a bed-sofa, a spacious bed-room and a bathroom with whirlpool shower and whirlpool bath. Sleeping accommodations for 5 persons. We also have a bar with outside terrace and a restaurant where we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and where you can taste our home cooking.
